Hello,
My German is not very good so please excuse my post in English. Also, upon registering, the location of USA was not provided (probably because this is an EU site!) I thought I should represent as the count here is lower than in the past it seems? Anyway, I enjoy this site and my son drives a 1991 limo and I have a 1992 Touring which we enjoy very much and can speak for the enthusiasm here in the USA.
Best Regards,
Peter

Hi there, Peter
and a very warm welcome to this community and forumI can see your car being registered on 'mregistry'
Would it be 'ok' with you for me to enter a link to the 'mregistry'-registration here,
so that who is interested can see a picture of your car ?
Many thanks for any contribition to this forum and my sincere respect
to bring this car to the US after all the
trouble and unfortunate experience you had in Stockholm with the
other car (E34 M5touring) purchased in Finland.B.t.w. meanwhile BL01514 ex Norway has also found a way 'over the pond'.
Do you by any chance have any contact with Brian (Fort Worth, TX.) ?Am I correct to assume that the 3rd brake light is mandatory in the US ?
and thus I will have a question to you on the subject.brgds

Verzollung/Einfuhr !!!
Inzwischen laufen ca. 25 E34 M5touring in den USA.Correct and true. Still, there are appr. 25x E34 M5tourings running in the US.
Most of them privately imported with a huge investment and effort to pass
EPA/DOT regulations. Meanwhile many cars are qualified under the 20 years rule,
which makes an import to the US considerably smoother.
